AZALEA WAY CENTENNIAL GARDEN
The Seattle Garden Club turned 100 in 2017, and to honor the contributions of their members over all those years, they created a grant for a local landscape enhancement project. Located along Olmsted-designed Azalea Way, this garden situated at the edge of a pond follows the aesthetic of this famous corridor while bringing some much-needed summer color to the park. A hand-crafted stone bench terminates in a plinth that houses a commemorative plaque.
